Tomato "Siberian Malachite".
Green on the outside, sugary on the inside! Mottled like a quail egg.
An amazing variety that breaks stereotypes. Its yellow-green fruits are significantly sweeter than most red tomatoes and have the taste of exotic fruits (kiwi and melon).
Characteristics:
Bush type: Indeterminate (120-190 cm). Looks very decorative thanks to the mottled fruits.
Fruits: Round, weighing 120-150 g. Unique colouration: emerald green with yellow stripes (malachite pattern).
Flesh: Jelly-like, tender, very sweet.
Variety value:
1. Hypoallergenic: The fruits lack red pigment (rich in carotene instead), so they do not cause allergies. Ideal for children and dietary nutrition.
2. Taste: This is a dessert variety. The sugary pulp will appeal even to those who do not like ordinary tomatoes.
3. Preservation: Thanks to the dense skin, "malachite balls" do not crack when pickled and look spectacular in a jar.
Agrotechnics:
Mid-season variety. Grown in greenhouses and open ground. High yield — up to 12 kg/m².
Important: Train to 1-2 stems with mandatory staking. Plant no more than 3 plants per 1 m². To know if a "green" tomato is ripe, squeeze it gently: if the fruit has become soft and the yellow stripes have brightened — it's time to eat!
